Summit Power International will operate the upcoming Matarbari II LNG regasification terminal, proposed to be built in Chittagong in Bangladesh. According to GlobalData, who tracks more than 1,100 active and developing LNG terminals worldwide, the terminal is expected to start operations in 2026 and will be owned by Summit Power International, Mitsubishi, General Electric, Chubu Electric Power, and Tokyo Electric Power Co Holdings.
