Contracts in the midstream oil and gas segment registered an increase of 63% with a total of 104 contracts in March 2022, when compared with 64 contracts in the previous month, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.
The activity marked an increase of 21%, when compared with the last 12-month average of 86 contracts.

By comparing contracts related to the midstream segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 58 contracts and a 56% share in March 2022, followed by Europe and North America with 19 (18%) and 17 (16%) contracts, respectively.

During the month, the majority of contracts in the midstream segment were awarded in the procurement with 58 contracts, followed by design & engineering and construction with 31 and 22 contracts, respectively.
