Contracts in the midstream oil and gas segment registered a decrease of 22% with a total of 69 contracts in November 2022, when compared with 88 contracts in the previous month, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.

The activity marked a decrease of 22%, when compared with the last 12-month average of 89 contracts.

By comparing contracts related to the midstream segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 33 contracts and a 48% share in November 2022, followed by Europe and Middle East with 19 (28%) and eight (12%) contracts, respectively.

During the month, the majority of contracts in the midstream segment were awarded in the operations & maintenance with 26 contracts, followed by procurement and construction with 21 contracts each.
