Contract activities in midstream segment in Middle East down 92% in December 2021

The midstream segment contracts in Middle East registered a decrease of 92% with one contract in December 2021, when compared with the previous month’s total of 12 contracts, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.

A total of one contract were registered in the midstream segment of Middle East during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of seven contracts.

In December 2021, Iran held one contract and a 100% share of the midstream oil and gas contracts in Middle East.

Based on 12-month moving average of the contracts in the midstream segment of Middle East, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar took the top spot with one contract each.

During the month, the majority of midstream segment contracts awarded in the Middle East were in the construction and operations & maintenance with one contract each.
