The midstream segment contracts in Middle East registered an increase of 25% with 10 contracts in October 2022, when compared with the previous month’s total of eight contracts, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.
A total of 10 contracts were registered in the midstream segment of Middle East during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of nine contracts.
In terms of the number of contracts in Middle East, the upstream segment contributed the most with 24 contracts in October 2022, followed by midstream and downstream segments with 10 and three contracts, respectively.

In October 2022, Iraq, Kuwait and Qatar led the activity with two contracts and a 20% share each of the midstream oil and gas contracts in Middle East.
