NBL Permian recorded a decrease of 6.69% in total oil and gas production to 7,098.95 boe/d in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.
The oil and gas production of NBL Permian grew 34.08% in February 2022 from 5,294.7 boe/d in February 2021.
On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 29.32% from the same period in 2021.
The company’s oil production declined 6.13% to 3,198.27 bd in February 2022 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 7.23% to 22.59 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 34.82% in 2022 when compared with the same period in 2021, while gas production rose by 25.34%. Out of the total oil and gas production in February 2022, oil production held a 45.05% share, while gas production held a 54.86% share.
Looking at the states where NBL Permian recorded the highest oil and gas production in February 2022, New Mexico figured at the top, accounting for a 31.65% share. The company produced 5,392.17 boe/d in the state in February 2022, a decrease of 9.37% from the previous month.
On a YTD basis, the company produced 11,341.77 boe/d in New Mexico in 2022, recording a decrease of 0.27% from the same period in 2021.
NBL Permian witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Lea county in February 2022. Out of all the counties, Lea county held a share of 75.31% for the firm. The company produced 5,346.18 boe/d in Lea county in February 2022, a decrease of 9.74% in production when compared with the previous month.
On a YTD basis, the county produced 11,269.05 boe/d for the company in 2022, a 29.82% increase from the same period in 2021.
