North Kung is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Thailand and is operated by Chevron Offshore (Thailand). The field is located in block B10, with water depth of 226 feet.

Production from North Kung

The North Kung conventional oil field recovered 96.53% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2011. The peak production was approximately 1.17 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 2 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2025.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 0.1 Mmboe, comprised of 0.07 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 0.15 bcf of natural gas reserves.
