The Amo heavy oil field recovered 80.26% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2006. The peak production was approximately 9.84 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 1.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2050.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 11.83 Mmboe, comprised of 11.35 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 2.92 bcf of natural gas reserves. Amo heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.03% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
