Claymore is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by Repsol Sinopec Resources UK. Two expansion projects are associated with the Claymore conventional oil field, namely the North Area Claymore Development (NAC) Project and the Main Area Claymore Recovery Optimisation (MACRO) Project Phase 2. The expansion projects are currently in the feasibility and construction stage, targeting start-up during 2023.

Production from Claymore
The Claymore conventional oil field recovered 98.85% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1984. The peak production was approximately 100.51 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 23.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2026. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 7.33 Mmboe, comprised of 6.75 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 3.45 bcf of natural gas reserves.
