Production from Dolphin Project
The Dolphin Project conventional gas field recovered 36.82% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2011. The peak production was approximately 94.46 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 2,034.00 Mmcfd of natural gas and 41.57 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2089. The field currently accounts for approximately 9% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 4,281.94 Mmboe, comprised of 784.01 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 19,846.49 bcf of natural gas reserves and 190.18 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves. Dolphin Project conventional gas field reserves accounts 1.46% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
