E-BK is a conventional gas development located in shallow water in South Africa and is operated by The Petroleum Oil and Gas Corporation of South Africa (SOC). Production from E-BK
Production from the E-BK conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2024 and is forecast to peak in 2025, to approximately 8,568 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 48 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2038.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 24.56 Mmboe, comprised of 12.75 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 70.85 bcf of natural gas reserves.
