Sakhalinmorneftegaz LLC (Sakhalinmorneftegaz) is a Russia Based crude oil producing company. Sakhalinmorneftegaz is a subsidiary of Rosneft Oil Company JSC. Sakhalinmorneftegaz is developing more than 30 oil and gas fields on the Sakhalin island. Over 10% of Sakhalin crude is produced using advanced recovery techniques. Crude oil produced by Sakhalinmorneftegaz is transported by a pipeline to Rosneft’s Komsomolsk refinery located on the Amur river and gas is transported to the domestic consumers via a pipeline owned by Daltransgaz. In year 2008, Sakhalinmorneftegaz produced 1.76 mln tons (12.9 mln barrels) of crude oil and 0.63 bcm of natural gas.
