Production from Habiganj
The Habiganj conventional gas field recovered 86.83% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2004. The peak production was approximately 0.14 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 297.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2044. The field currently accounts for approximately 7% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 66.69 Mmboe, comprised of 0.02 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 400.04 bcf of natural gas reserves. Habiganj conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
