Production from Jacana
The Jacana heavy oil field recovered 25.46% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2023. The peak production was approximately 64.98 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2062. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.
