Production from Jubarte
The Jubarte heavy oil field recovered 82.91% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2016. The peak production was approximately 315.20 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 220.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2034. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 253.56 Mmboe, comprised of 232.90 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 123.98 bcf of natural gas reserves. Jubarte heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.59% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
