Production from Malampaya
The Malampaya conventional gas field recovered 89.09% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2019. The peak production was approximately 10.97 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 426.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2031. The field currently accounts for approximately 97% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 64.75 Mmboe, comprised of 14.56 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 301.13 bcf of natural gas reserves. Malampaya conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
