Production from North Field Alpha
The North Field Alpha conventional gas field recovered 55.11% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1992. The peak production was approximately 50.00 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 800.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2086. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 1,506.14 Mmboe, comprised of 196.89 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 7,855.51 bcf of natural gas reserves. North Field Alpha conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.51% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
