Production from Pailin
The Pailin conventional gas field recovered 78.90% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2000. The peak production was approximately 9.23 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 234.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2038. The field currently accounts for approximately 4% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 77.78 Mmboe, comprised of 17.99 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 358.75 bcf of natural gas reserves. Pailin conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.03% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
