Production from Palmar Oeste
The Palmar Oeste heavy oil field recovered 64.22% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2010. The peak production was approximately 2.76 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2053.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 3.54 Mmboe, comprised of 3.50 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 0.28 bcf of natural gas reserves. Palmar Oeste heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
