Pepulut is a conventional gas development located in shallow water in Malaysia and is operated by SapuraKencana Energy Sarawak. According to GlobalData, who tracks more than 34,000 active and developing oil and gas fields worldwide, Pepulut was discovered in 2018, lies in block SK 408, with water depth of around 400 feet. Production from Pepulut
Production from the Pepulut conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2024 and is forecast to peak in 2025, to approximately 50 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2051.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 36.00 Mmboe, comprised of 216.00 bcf of natural gas reserves.
