Production from Shah Gas Development

The Shah Gas Development conventional gas field recovered 21.84% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2022. The peak production was approximately 48.75 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 825.00 Mmcfd of natural gas and 86.25 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2064. The field currently accounts for approximately 6% of the country’s daily output.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 1,974.17 Mmboe, comprised of 342.43 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 6,155.34 bcf of natural gas reserves and 605.84 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves. Shah Gas Development conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.67% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
