Production from Shahdad
The Shahdad conventional gas field recovered 34.36% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 0.28 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 26.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2069. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 14.91 Mmboe, comprised of 1.14 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 82.60 bcf of natural gas reserves. Shahdad conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
