The South Pars Phases 6, 7 and 8 conventional gas field recovered 54.95% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2014. The peak production was approximately 158.00 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 3,669.00 Mmcfd of natural gas and 46.47 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2051. The field currently accounts for approximately 7% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 2,677.96 Mmboe, comprised of 71.13 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 14,272.59 bcf of natural gas reserves and 228.06 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves. South Pars Phases 6, 7 and 8 conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.91% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
