The Tlacame heavy oil field recovered 36.50% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2021. The peak production was approximately 15.14 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 8.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2039.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 23.60 Mmboe, comprised of 23.15 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 2.70 bcf of natural gas reserves. Tlacame heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.05% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
