Production from Urengoyskoye (Samburgsky)

The Urengoyskoye (Samburgsky) conventional gas field recovered 31.34% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2024. The peak production will approximately 151.96 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 1,947.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2075. The field currently accounts for approximately 2% of the country’s daily output.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 2,630.98 Mmboe, comprised of 838.49 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 10,754.93 bcf of natural gas reserves. Urengoyskoye (Samburgsky) conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.90% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
