Osaka Gas recorded an increase of 1.97% in total oil and gas production to 93,840.55 boe/d in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Osaka Gas grew 45.26% in February 2022 from 64,602.78 boe/d in February 2021.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 30.46% from the same period in 2021.

The company’s oil production grew 10% to 109.55 bd in February 2022 from the previous month, while gas production up by 1.74% to 536.52 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 12.44% in 2022 when compared with the same period in 2021, while gas production rose by 30.85%. Out of the total oil and gas production in February 2022, oil production held a 0.12% share, while gas production held a 98.57% share.


Looking at the states where Osaka Gas recorded the highest oil and gas production in February 2022, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 93,840.55 boe/d in the state in February 2022, an increase of 1.97% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 1,85,868.02 boe/d in Texas in 2022, recording an increase of 30.46% from the same period in 2021.



Osaka Gas witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Panola county in February 2022. Out of all the counties, Panola county held a share of 43.75% for the firm. The company produced 41,056.56 boe/d in Panola county in February 2022, an increase of 4.65% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 80,288.51 boe/d for the company in 2022, a 38.85% increase from the same period in 2021.
