The oil and gas production of PDC Energy grew 10.17% in August 2021 from 208,368.42 boe/d in August 2020.
On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 5.85% from the same period in 2020.
The company’s oil production grew 8.36% to 85,160.21 bd in August 2021 from the previous month, while gas production up by 1.92% to 805.89 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 9.07% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production declined by 0.52%. Out of the total oil and gas production in August 2021, oil production held a 37.1% share, while gas production held a 60.53% share.
Looking at the states where PDC Energy recorded the highest oil and gas production in August 2021, Colorado figured at the top, accounting for a 22.57% share. The company produced 187,282.54 boe/d in the state in August 2021, an increase of 3.12% from the previous month.
On a YTD basis, the company produced 1,405,376.88 boe/d in Colorado in 2021, recording a decrease of 19.35% from the same period in 2020.
PDC Energy witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Weld county in August 2021. Out of all the counties, Weld county held a share of 81.58% for the firm. The company produced 187,281.04 boe/d in Weld county in August 2021, an increase of 3.12% in production when compared with the previous month.
On a YTD basis, the county produced 1,405,369.65 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 3.89% decrease from the same period in 2020.
