Pennsylvania witnessed an increase of 3.07% in total oil and gas production to 37,97,932.52 boe/d in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.
The oil and gas production grew 7.29% in November 2021 from 35,39,923.44 boe/d in November 2020. On a YTD basis, the total oil and gas production in 2021 increased by 6.14% from the same period in 2020.
In November 2021, oil production grew 7.27% to 2,252.14 bd as against the previous month, while gas production up by 2.99% to 21,917.13 mmcf/d.
On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 14.56% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production rose by 6.12%. Out of the total oil and gas production in November 2021, oil held a 0.06% share, while gas had a 99.49% share.
In Pennsylvania, EQT emerged as the largest oil and gas producer, recording a total oil and gas production at 8,27,384.05 boe/d in November 2021, an increase of 1.46% from the previous month. The company held a 0.01% share in oil production and 21.87% share in gas production in November 2021.
On a YTD basis, the company registered a 6.65% increase in total oil and gas production from the same period in 2020.
Compared with other counties in Pennsylvania, Susquehanna county recorded the highest oil and gas production, holding a 21.43% share in November 2021. The county witnessed a 4.48% increase in production to 8,13,982.16 boe/d in November 2021 when compared with the previous month.
On a YTD basis, Susquehanna registered a decline of 1.21% in total production from the same period in 2020.
