Petro Hunt records 2.44% decrease in production in February 2022

Petro Hunt recorded a decrease of 2.44% in total oil and gas production to 65,316.57 boe/d in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Petro Hunt grew 2.33% in February 2022 from 63,830.52 boe/d in February 2021.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 5.58% from the same period in 2021.

The company’s oil production declined 3.36% to 46,210.24 bd in February 2022 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 0.13% to 110.82 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 1.68% in 2022 when compared with the same period in 2021, while gas production rose by 16.6%. Out of the total oil and gas production in February 2022, oil production held a 70.75% share, while gas production held a 29.25% share.

Looking at the states where Petro Hunt recorded the highest oil and gas production in February 2022, North Dakota figured at the top, accounting for a 0.2% share. The company produced 63,564.36 boe/d in the state in February 2022, a decrease of 2.58% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 1,28,809.6 boe/d in North Dakota in 2022, recording an increase of 2.83% from the same period in 2021.

Petro Hunt witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Mckenzie county in February 2022. Out of all the counties, Mckenzie county held a share of 71.03% for the firm. The company produced 46,397.52 boe/d in Mckenzie county in February 2022, a decrease of 2.35% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 93,913.29 boe/d for the company in 2022, a 1.19% decrease from the same period in 2021.
