Contracts in the petrochemicals oil and gas segment registered an increase of 92% with a total of 25 contracts in November 2022, when compared with 13 contracts in the previous month, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.

The activity marked an increase of 9%, when compared with the last 12-month average of 23 contracts.

By comparing contracts related to the petrochemicals segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 14 contracts and a 56% share in November 2022, followed by North America and Middle East with seven (28%) and three (12%) contracts, respectively.

During the month, the majority of contracts in the petrochemicals segment were awarded in the procurement with 13 contracts, followed by design & engineering and construction with 12 and seven contracts, respectively.
