Contracts in the petrochemicals oil and gas segment registered an increase of 28% with 59 contracts in Q2 2022, when compared with 46 contracts in the previous quarter, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.

The activity marked a decrease of 17%, when compared with the last four-quarter average of 71 contracts.

Asia-Pacific led the contracts activity for petrochemicals segment, with 38 contracts and a 64% share in Q2 2022, followed by Europe and Middle East with 10 (17%) and seven (12%) contracts, respectively.

Contracts by scope of work in petrochemicals segment in Q2 2022
