The petrochemicals segment contracts in North America registered an increase of 40% with seven contracts in Q2 2021, when compared with the previous quarter’s total of five contracts, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.

A total of seven contracts were registered in the petrochemicals segment of North America during the quarter, when compared with the last four-quarter moving average of three contracts.

Looking at the total oil and gas contracts by country in the petrochemicals segment of North America, the US held seven contracts and a 100% share in Q2 2021. It saw an increase of 75% over the previous quarter’s total of four contracts and an increase of 133% when compared with the last four-quarter-average of three contracts in the US.

Based on five-quarter moving average of the contracts in the petrochemicals segment of North America, the US held with four contracts.
