Production from Petromar Area

The Petromar Area conventional gas field recovered 75.56% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2011. The peak production was approximately 6.11 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 155 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2039. The field currently accounts for approximately 9% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 46.54 Mmboe, comprised of 9.01 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 225.22 bcf of natural gas reserves. Petromar Area conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
