PGP Operating records 1.39% decrease in production in February 2022

PGP Operating recorded a decrease of 1.39% in total oil and gas production to 5,874.79 boe/d in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of PGP Operating declined 6.01% in February 2022 from 6,250.54 boe/d in February 2021.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 6.41% from the same period in 2021.

The company’s gas production declined by 1.39% to 34.07 mmcf/d in February 2022 from the previous month. On a YTD basis, gas production declined by 6.41% in 2022 when compared with the same period in 2021. Out of the total oil and gas production in February 2022, gas production held a 99.99% share.


Looking at the states where PGP Operating recorded the highest oil and gas production in February 2022, Alabama figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 5,874.79 boe/d in the state in February 2022, a decrease of 1.39% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 11,832.17 boe/d in Alabama in 2022, recording a decrease of 6.41% from the same period in 2021.



PGP Operating witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Tuscaloosa county in February 2022. Out of all the counties, Tuscaloosa county held a share of 68.78% for the firm. The company produced 4,040.78 boe/d in Tuscaloosa county in February 2022, a decrease of 1.33% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 8,135.87 boe/d for the company in 2022, a 7.44% decrease from the same period in 2021.
