A total of 24 contracts were recorded in the pipeline sector globally during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of 33 contracts.


In May 2022, the majority of contracts in the pipeline segment were in the onshore pipeline sub-segment with 20 contracts and an 80% share. Offshore pipeline sub-segment witnessed five contracts, during the month.

During the month, the majority of contracts in the pipeline segment were awarded in the procurement with 15 contracts, followed by operations & maintenance and design & engineering with six and five contracts, respectively.
