Placer Unit is a conventional oil development located onshore the US and is operated by ASRC Exploration. Discovered in 2004, Placer Unit lies in block ADL 391913, ADL 391912, ADL 391023, ADL 391910, ADL 391024, ADL 391028, ADL 391027, and ADL 391911.

The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2022. The Placer Unit conventional oil development will involve the drilling of approximately four wells.

Production from Placer Unit

Production from the Placer Unit conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2022 and is forecast to peak in 2023, to approximately 3,792 bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2039.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 13.98 Mmboe, comprised of 13.98 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
