Qingdao LNG Regasification Terminal, China

Located in Shandong in China, the Qingdao regasification terminal is operated by Sinopec Qingdao LNG. The terminal started operations in 2014 and is owned by China Petrochemical.



With a storage capacity of 0.29 million tons (Mt), the Qingdao terminal currently has a regasification capacity of 297.07bcf/annum (billion cubic feet), which is expected to increase to 681.8bcf/annum by 2030.

Qingdao regasification terminal is undergoing expansion, which will increase its capacity by 340.9bcf/annum.

During the period 2021-2025, the Qingdao regasification terminal is expected to witness an estimated capex of $990.55m.
