Riviera Resources recorded an increase of 78.47% in total oil and gas production to 1,435.65 boe/d in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Riviera Resources declined 12.54% in August 2021 from 1,641.48 boe/d in August 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 18.9% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s oil production grew 98.44% to 1,301.22 bd in August 2021 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 9.3% to 0.78 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 13.51% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production declined by 50.65%. Out of the total oil and gas production in August 2021, oil production held a 90.64% share, while gas production held a 9.37% share.


Looking at the states where Riviera Resources recorded the highest oil and gas production in August 2021, Oklahoma figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 1,301.24 boe/d in the state in August 2021, an increase of 96.18% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 10,783.59 boe/d in Oklahoma in 2021, recording a decrease of 25.94% from the same period in 2020.



Riviera Resources witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Osage county in August 2021. Out of all the counties, Osage county held a share of 44.56% for the firm. The company produced 639.77 boe/d in Osage county in August 2021, an increase of 1.47% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 4,941.55 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 1.64% decrease from the same period in 2020.
