S & G Oil recorded a decrease of 6.23% in total oil and gas production to 152.76 boe/d in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of S & G Oil grew 83.34% in August 2021 from 83.32 boe/d in August 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 44.8% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s oil production declined 9.92% to 125.89 bd in August 2021 from the previous month, while gas production up by 15.38% to 0.15 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 66.15% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production declined by 10.4%. Out of the total oil and gas production in August 2021, oil production held an 82.41% share, while gas production held a 16.93% share.


Looking at the states where S & G Oil recorded the highest oil and gas production in August 2021, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 152.76 boe/d in the state in August 2021, a decrease of 6.23% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 1,092.12 boe/d in Texas in 2021, recording an increase of 44.8% from the same period in 2020.



S & G Oil witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Wichita county in August 2021. Out of all the counties, Wichita county held a share of 79.62% for the firm. The company produced 121.63 boe/d in Wichita county in August 2021, a decrease of 4.02% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 853.85 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 64.94% increase from the same period in 2020.
