Somont Oil recorded a decrease of 5.83% in total oil and gas production to 323.73 boe/d in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Somont Oil declined 6.27% in August 2021 from 345.4 boe/d in August 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 7.01% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s oil production grew 11.83% to 212 bd in August 2021 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 26.97% to 0.65 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 8.76% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production rose by 5.02%. Out of the total oil and gas production in August 2021, oil production held a 65.49% share, while gas production held a 34.62% share.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 2,691.77 boe/d in Montana in 2021, recording an increase of 5.99% from the same period in 2020.



Somont Oil witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Toole county in August 2021. Out of all the counties, Toole county held a share of 98.93% for the firm. The company produced 320.28 boe/d in Toole county in August 2021, a decrease of 6.69% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 2,691.77 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 7.57% increase from the same period in 2020.
