Production from Thien Ung
The Thien Ung conventional gas field recovered 28.97% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 4.01 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 67 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2034. The field currently accounts for approximately 4% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 44.31 Mmboe, comprised of 11.05 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 199.58 bcf of natural gas reserves. Thien Ung conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
