Tortue Floating I LNG Liquefaction Terminal, Mauritania

Located in Atlantic Ocean in Mauritania, the Tortue Floating I LNG liquefaction terminal is owned by Golar LNG, and Keppel and will be operated by Gimi MS, once it becomes operational in 2023.

 

 

The Tortue Floating I LNG liquefaction terminal will source gas from the following fields –

Tortue (Mauritania) Tortue (Senegal)

With one train, Tortue Floating I terminal will have an initial LNG production capacity of 2.5Mtpa (million tons per annum).

 

 

During the period 2021-2025, the Tortue Floating I liquefaction plant is expected to witness an estimated capex of $1,200m.

Some of the key contractors for the Tortue Floating I LNG liquefaction plant include the following.Design/FEED: China International Marine Containers (Group), Eiffage Genie Civil Marine, Eni, Golar LNG.Main EPC: Black & Veatch Holding, Keppel.EPC: Eiffage Genie Civil Marine, Eni, KBR.
