Urban Oil & Gas Group recorded a decrease of 2.03% in total oil and gas production to 20,030.78 boe/d in December 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Urban Oil & Gas Group grew 1.83% in December 2021 from 19,671.76 boe/d in December 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 7.86% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s oil production declined 4.67% to 3,616.08 bd in December 2021 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 1.58% to 94.79 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 3.32% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production declined by 8.9%. Out of the total oil and gas production in December 2021, oil production held an 18.05% share, while gas production held an 81.59% share.


Looking at the states where Urban Oil & Gas Group recorded the highest oil and gas production in December 2021, Alabama figured at the top, accounting for a 32.01% share. The company produced 5,793.04 boe/d in the state in December 2021, a decrease of 2.7% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 69,836.45 boe/d in Alabama in 2021, recording a decrease of 73.56% from the same period in 2020.



Urban Oil & Gas Group witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Tuscaloosa county in December 2021. Out of all the counties, Tuscaloosa county held a share of 22.22% for the firm. The company produced 4,451.11 boe/d in Tuscaloosa county in December 2021, a decrease of 2.65% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 53,656.99 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 7.46% decrease from the same period in 2020.
