Utah witnessed an increase of 2.01% in total oil and gas production to 2,20,090.72 boe/d in January 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.
The oil and gas production grew 11.73% in January 2022 from 1,96,989.59 boe/d in January 2021. On a YTD basis, the total oil and gas production in 2022 increased by 11.73% from the same period in 2021.
In January 2022, oil production grew 3.14% to 1,06,353.55 bd as against the previous month, while gas production up by 0.98% to 659.68 mmcf/d.
On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 19.36% in 2022 when compared with the same period in 2021, while gas production rose by 5.43%. Out of the total oil and gas production in January 2022, oil held a 48.32% share, while gas had a 51.68% share.
