Aker BP has awarded TWMA a three-year contract extension to supply integrated waste management services for its two fields offshore Norway.
The contract covers the Aker BP-operated Valhall Flank North and Hod B field development projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).

The order is an extension to a three-year contract awarded to TWMA in 2019 for drill cuttings handling, bulk transfer, and cuttings processing solutions for the Maersk Invincible jack-up.
Aker BP extended the contract by exercising the first of two three-year extension options.
The contract increases TWMA’s scope to include onshore treatment for three wells on Valhall Flank North and six wells on Hod.
Aker BP also has the option to exercise another three-year extension option with TWMA to include onshore treatment for an additional three wells on Valhall Flank North, and six wells on Hod field.

Work forms part of Aker BP’s Valhall field modernisation plan, which aims to produce a total of two billion barrels of oil equivalent.
The Valhall field complex comprises a central hub and three remotely controlled wellhead platforms.
Aker BP is redeveloping the Hod oil and gas field, which lies at a water depth of 72m, 12km south of the Valhall field complex. It started production in August 1990.
The redevelopment project involves a new wellhead platform ‘Hod B’, which is tied back to the nearby Valhall field centre via rigid pipelines and an umbilical.
