Oil and gas engineering, commissioning, and specialty field services firm GATE Energy has announced the opening of its office in South Korea.

The office will provide commissioning and engineering support for GATE Energy in the region.

In the midst of economic turmoil due to the oil price crash and Covid-19 pandemic, GATE Energy’s focus on growth has resulted in a strong backlog from US-based clients.

The company has also expanded its footprint across the globe with the opening of new offices worldwide.

Based in the US, GATE Energy is a provider of scalable, fit-for-purpose services for the energy sector, including engineering, commissioning, and specialty field services.

In August last year, GATE Energy secured a contract from Murphy Oil to provide facility commissioning for the Murphy Exploration & Production Company USA’s recently announced King’s Quay development.
