RBC Capital Markets advised on 17 deals, retaining the leading position by volume that it also held during Q1-Q3 2025.

GlobalData lead analyst Aurojyoti Bose said: “RBC Capital Markets was the top adviser by volume during Q1-Q3 2025 and managed to retain its leadership position by this metric during Q1-Q3 2026 as well.

“Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs’ ranking by value improved from fourth to the top spot given that there was more than a double-fold jump in the total value of deals it advised on.

“Of the six deals advised by Goldman Sachs during Q1-Q3 2026, four were billion-dollar deals, including two mega deals of worth more than $10bn. The involvement in these big-ticket deals helped it register the massive jump in value.”

JPMorgan ranked second by value, advising on $38.7bn of deals. Barclays followed with $38.2bn, ahead of Evercore with $31.8bn and RBC Capital Markets with $29.8bn.

Jefferies was second in the volume table with 14 deals. Morgan Stanley and Moelis & Company each advised on 11 deals, while Barclays advised on nine.

GlobalData’s league tables are based on the real-time tracking of thousands of company websites, advisory firm websites and other reliable sources available in the secondary domain. A dedicated team of analysts monitors all these sources to gather in-depth details for each deal, including adviser names.

To ensure further robustness of the data, the company also seeks submissions of deals from leading advisers.
