These rigs are equipped with FX-Control, one of the company’s new +veDRILL technologies.
In Oman, KCAD secured a three-year contract extension for five rigs operating for one of the leading exploration and production (E&P) companies in the country. The extension is set to start in 2021.
The contractor also noted that another rig in Oman has secured a new two-year contract with two one-year extension options.
Equipped with +veDRILL Future technology range, these rigs are designed to remove people from the red zone and reduce invisible lost time (ILT) during frilling operations.
