Caspian Sunrise has entered an agreement to buy the entire stake in 3A Best Group for $24m.
3A Best Group is the owner of a 1,347km² contract area situated near Aktau in the Mangystau Province of Kazakhstan.
Caspian Sunrise will issue 149 million shares priced at £0.12 ($0.161) a share to finance the acquisition.
Caspian Sunrise is a Canadian oil and gas exploration and production company.
The acquisition will strengthen the company’s business operations in Kazakhstan.
The Siam Cement Public has entered an agreement to purchase the remaining 29% interest in Long Son Petrochemicals Company from Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) for THB2.9bn ($90.42m).
To be completed by the end of June, the transaction is being executed through the company’s subsidiary Vina SCG Chemicals.
Siam Cement will own a 100% indirect stake in Long Son Petrochemicals, following the acquisition.
The Siam Cement Public is a Thai-based cement and building material company.
Both based in Vietnam, Long Son Petrochemicals Company owns an integrated petrochemicals complex while PetroVietnam is an oil and gas company.
Vermilion Energy has completed the acquisition of Spartan Energy for C$1.4bn ($1.11bn).
Vermilion offered 0.1476 of a share in exchange for each common share of Spartan and also assumed C$175m ($134.68m) in debt of Spartan, as part of the acquisition.
The target company owns light oil producing assets covering an area of 480,000 acres in the Canadian provinces of Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba, and 400,000 acres in south-east Saskatchewan.
Both companies involved in the transaction are oil and gas companies based in Canada.
BW LPG has announced plans to purchase Dorian LPG for $1.1bn.
Dorian shareholders will receive 2.05 shares of BW LPG in exchange for each share held in the company.
Based in Singapore, BW LPG owns and operates LPG vessels, while Dorian LPG is an American liquefied petroleum gas shipping company.
The acquisition will expand BW LPG’s global business operations.
Ibeto Cement Company has signed a letter of agreement to purchase Century Petroleum Corp and an affiliate of Palewater Global Management in a reverse acquisition.
Ibeto Cement will acquire a 100% interest in Century Petroleum, while a new company named Ibeto Cement International Corporation will be created in which the former will own 70%.
Ibeto Cement Company is a Nigerian subsidiary of The Ibeto Group, while Century Petroleum Corp is a US-based oil and gas exploration company.
Castleton Commodities International has acquired NorTex Midstream Partners through its subsidiary from funds managed by Alinda Capital Partners.
Castleton Commodities International is a commodities trading company, while NorTex Midstream Partners is a provider of midstream services and Alinda Capital Partners is an investment firm.
All the companies involved in the transaction are based in the US.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen Castleton Commodities’ business operations.
Taconic Capital Advisors UK has divested a 10% interest in Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited for £44.85m ($59.96m).
Taconic’s interest in Gulf Keystone Petroleum reduced to 3.6%, following the transaction.
Taconic Capital Advisors UK is a global institutional investment firm, while Keystone Petroleum is an oil and gas exploration and production company based in Bermuda.
