Neptune Energy Group Ltd has entered an agreement to purchase a 100% stake in VNG Norge AS from VNG AG.

Based in the UK, Neptune Energy is an independent oil and gas company. VNG Norge is a Norway-based oil and gas company and VNG AG is a Germany-based energy service provider and a wholesaler of natural gas.

VNG Norge is the owner of 42 licences and five producing fields and is also involved in the development of three projects namely Fenja (30%) and Bauge (2.5%) located in Norway, and Solsort (13.8%) in Denmark.

The acquisition is expected to help Neptune Energy to focus on the expansion of its business operations.

Panoro Energy has entered a sale and purchase agreement with DNO ASA to acquire DNO Tunisia ASA.

Panoro will acquire all the existing permit interests, rights and unfulfilled work obligations from DNO Tunisia, as part of the transaction.

Based in Norway, Panoro Energy is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company. DNO ASA is an oil and gas company based in Norway and DNO Tunisia that owns three Tunisian offshore permits.

The acquisition is expected to help Panoro Energy build a balanced and diversified exploration and production company in Tunisia.

Eni and HitecVision have entered an agreement to merge their subsidiaries Eni Norge and Point Resources into a new company named Vår Energi AS.

Eni and HitecVision will hold 69.6% and 30.4% interests respectively in the newly formed company.

Vår Energi’s portfolio will comprise properties located in the Barents Sea, North Sea and the rest of the world.

Eni Norge is the Norwegian subsidiary of Eni. Point Resources is an oil and gas exploration and production company also based in Norway.

Based in Italy, Eni is an energy company, while HitecVision is a Norwegian private equity and venture capital firm.
